March 12, 2010 - PRLog -- KERRVILLE, Texas – The challenging Texas terrain is posing set backs for two athletes who are attempting to raise one million dollars for Huntington's Disease, Leukemia and Lymphoma, by rollerblading across the USA in a project called "In Motion For A  Million".  Currently in route to Del Rio, the athletes are pushing themselves to stay on their time line as best as possible.  The team is expected to arrive at their final destination, San Diego, California, within the next couple of months.

Phil Repaci, the In Motion For A Million Tour Manager, relays the struggles that the bladers have been experiencing: "Since we are in hill country,  the terrain has set us back due to the challenge of the steep inclines as well as the rough road conditions. We also have a very tough day ahead tomorrow & Saturday as the athletes will face even steeper inclines.  At this point, we are off schedule but hoping to be in Del Rio for Monday, March 15."

After the team takes a well deserved rest in Del Rio, they will immediately journey on through Comstock, Langtry, Dryden, Sanderson, Marathon and Alpine as they continue to head west towards New Mexico.

The team is currently inviting willing volunteers to get together and host mini-fundraisers for In Motion For A Million.  Whether the fundraiser is a group of family and friends at someone's house or a community gathering, the team is looking to the people to help them achieve their one million dollar fundraising goal.  If the fundraiser in along the route, the team will plan to stop by.  Otherwise, donations raised can be submitted directly to the www.inmotionforamillion.org site.  In addition, the team is inviting media members to join in on the rollerblading; media may skate along for as long as they would like.
