Dalton’s business came full-circle in 2009 when she created a new product line, somersaults™
Storybook Club. This club is designed to help change mothers’ good intent of creating baby books and photo books for their children into action. This “beginning of life” focus has now positioned the company with an online, national club presence. “As a mother, I had purchased countless scrapbook supplies I didn’t have time to use and had hundreds of pictures stuck on my hard-drive and camera that never got to print, and I assumed I was not alone,” said Dalton, founder and CEO. After extensive research and focus groups, Dalton confirmed her theory and created a process and product line that would fill that need and bring peace of mind to mothers who want these treasures.

Storybook Club gives members customization options including desired color schemes, fonts and editing preferences. Once a member, somersaults™
sends a monthly email with selected customized questions related to each child’s age, development, holiday preferences, and season. The member provides responses to those questions as well as any monthly highlights. In addition, they can upload a maximum of 7 pictures each month to be included in the book. The member’s monthly pictures, captions, and responses are then entered and artistically designed by a somersaults™
designer in the storybook template they chose when they enrolled. It takes members less than 10 minutes per month, and at the end of their 12 month membership, they receive an 8” x 8”, twenty-page, hard-bound storybook commemorating their child’s year of life. The annual membership fee is $99 per child and includes monthly email service, storybook design & development, and the 8” x 8” storybook. In addition, there is a one-time family enrollment fee of $25 which then entitles members to other exclusive personalized products and offerings celebrating their children and family
