Local Green Contractor Directory Goes National

Feb. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- GreenJobz.org, an informational Web site about green contractors, started an online directory of local contractors two months ago. The directory started in Pennsylvania and is now open to all 50 states. GreenJobz.org is working with several skilled contractors to gather relevant information for the site's visitors. The "Learn the Basics" section contains articles such as, "Solar Energy”, “Benefits of Geothermal Energy” and more.  
The local contractor directory now has contractors listed in Pennsylvania, and more states will soon be added. The directory is organized by state and then zip code. The site is now listed on over 300 specialty Web sites such as real estate sites, home inspection sites, and mortgage sites.
Exclusivity applies in that only one contractor per zip code is allowed.  So if someone searches the zip code(s) you have registered you will be the only one appearing under those zip codes.  The cost is extremely affordable at only $50 per zip code per year.  There is no limit on the number of zip codes you can register.  Contractors can go to http://www.greenjobz.org/faq.html to learn about registering their zip code.
