PRLog -- Kenny West comes from Hayesville, NC. He and Wilma have been happily married for 32 yrs. with two grown children Emily and Phillip. They are members and attend Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. They have family throughout WNC. After much prayer and council last year, Kenny decided to run for the 11th District Congressional Seat. Kenny worked for PCA International Photo Corporation for 15 yrs. as National Sales Trainer and Regional Sales Director over Eastern United States, Kenny is now employed with Liberty National Life Insurance working with small business owners throughout WNC and ranked 8th out of 6,800 agents. Kenny states there comes a time in a persons life when they have to stand up and be counted. This time has come for Kenny as enough is enough period to big government! It's coming to the point that we can't even pray to the very God who has blessed this country. It's WE the People says Kenny not we the government. Kenny feels we need to put God and Character back in America with character meaning making the right choices even when no one is looking. Kenny is pro-life and believes marriage is between one man and one woman. Being an NRA member and his father a life member, Kenny is pro-second amendment. Also Kenny is a Christian, with this he feels we should support Israel as our fore fathers brought forth Judeo-Christian Principles. Kenny will tell you he is against this insane government spending with the so-called stimulus, cap & trade, high taxes and wants to lower taxes on all small businesses, both payroll and capital gains. Also, Kenny wants to stop the death tax completely and the hate crime bill. With your help we can win this primary in May 2010 and go on to win the general election in November against Heath Shuler or whomever will run from the Democrat side. A New Direction for a New Year!
