I have known Kenny West for many years. His wife and daughter both work for Clay County Schools.  Kenny has always been a huge supporter of the Clay County School System.  I have had many conversations with Kenny about public schools and the role of the federal government.  He and I both agree that the federal government should leave the governance of the public schools to local communites.

Kenny is an upstanding citizen in our community with high morals and Christian values.  He is also very family oriented.  I have worked with him in Rotary as he was very instrumental in getting a Rotary Club started in Clay county.

While Kenny may not agree with me on every issue, he will always take time to listen to my side and will always do what is right in the end.  Kenny is an asset to Clay County and all of Western North Carolina.

I am proud to call Kenny West a friend.
