Welsh Baccalaureate and Essential Skills Wales Tracker launched

Feb. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Teach ICT Ltd today completed the final phase of testing their new Welsh Baccalaureate and Essential Skills Wales (formerly Key Skills) tracking system. The system allows pupil in Wales to choose specific skills they need to complete in order to qualify for the the Welsh Baccalaureate at entry, internediate and advanced levels. The system is protected by 128bit SSL encryption and pupil info is stored in an encrypted database. Resources have been included for Communication Level 1 - 3, Application of Number Levels 1 - 3 and Information Communication Technology Levels 1 - 3, these resources include helpful tips and video guidance on each level. A powerful aspect of the system is the clear colour coded headings which signify task completion. In addition pupils can print their logbook.

Where the tool really comes into it's own is in the teacher backend. The Welsh Baccaluareate and Essential Skills Wales tracking system allows teachers to gain an overview of task completion by pupils. Again colour coding is used to show completion of levels and it is possible to download data for import into the school's MIS.
