Follow on Google News | Academic WorldQuest 2010 - High Schools Compete on International TopicsQuestions on Genocide, Oman and the World Cup will be among those asked of the 80 students competing in Academic WorldQuest on March 6, 2010, at UCONN/Stamford. This competition of high school teams is organized by the World Affairs Forum.
Tony Savino, News Director, AM 1490 WGCH Greenwich, will be the Game Master for the competition, which kicks off at 9:00 A.M. and concludes at noon. The community is invited to attend. The winning high school team will have its expenses paid to travel to Washington, DC, in April to compete in the national Academic WorldQuest. The Seventh Annual Academic WorldQuest is made possible through the generous support of Lead Sponsors, MasterCard Worldwide and World Wrestling Entertainment, as well as the Xerox Foundation and the Hageman Foundation.
