REMINDER: Saturday, Feb. 6 is Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida's Walk for Wishes in Estero

Feb. 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Don’t forget to sign up and support  the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida’s 5K Walk/Run for Wishes in Estero this coming Saturday,  February 6, 2010.

The money raised at this event goes toward granting the wishes of children from the community battling life-threatening conditions. Participants can choose to walk as an individual or to form a team of family and friends to join together in the walk to make a difference.

The walk will be held at the Estero Community Park, 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd. in Estero, FL. Registration will start at 7:30 a.m., the 5K Walk/Run will begin at 8:30 a.m. and Family Fun Day will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Dogs, bicycles, rollerblades, and skateboards will not be permitted in the event area.  There will also be a simultaneous walk on the east coast in Weston, FL.

Registration can be completed online at www.walkforwishes.net or turned in at the park with all donations the morning of the event.
