Follow on Google News | Summer of 5,000 Wishes with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern FloridaThe Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida hopes to grant 45 wishes to local children with life-threatening medical conditions as part of the national "Summer of 5,000 Wishes" program.

Sue Huff “The Foundation grants more wishes during the summer months than any other time during the year,” said Norman Wedderburn, President and CEO. “It’s the perfect time for kids to travel on vacations with their families or just take a much-needed break from their daily routine and experience their heartfelt wishes come true. The request for summer wishes is increasing, and we need the continuing support of the community.” Many local children are looking forward to getting their wishes granted this summer.
