Jan. 31, 2010 - PRLog -- Austin247TV.com is proud to go live! Originally scheduled to go live in the spring of 2008, we decided to wait for a better economic environment and 2010 is it! We're are a new hybrid sort of website, a combination TV network and video magazine, dedicated to Austin City Living. Features will include news, sports, entertainment, music, travel, business, hi-tech, lifestyle, health, fitness and more. We will also pay particular attention to a variety of cultural diversities, gender, talents, backgrounds and topics including the alternative, controversial and socially charged. The idea is to reflect the same character, style and personality that the city of Austin represents to the world, especially when it comes to its unique people.

As a promotional campaign, we're offering select businesses the opportunity to showcase themselves on our Internet channel. Requirements for businesses are: 1. A company must have a better than average, pre-produced company video (which they own right to) already in their possession. 2. Video must run no longer than 2 minutes. 3. Video must be in AVI, wmv, mpg2,  mov, or mp4 formats. 4. Businesses must be registered dba businesses with a physical location and not home based. 5. Must be based in the vicinity of 50 mile radius of Austin, Texas (unless you are a tourism based business located in Texas state.
