Dawn Weber Awarded January Singing News Golden Mic Award

Jan. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- KJAB Christian Radio morning DJ Dawn Weber was awarded the Singing News Golden Mic Award for the month of January, 2010.  This award was given for Dawn's "tireless efforts in the promotion of, and her intangible contributions to Southern Gospel Music  via radio airwaves."  The Golden Mic Award is given monthly to radio broadcasters who display excellence and dedication to Southern Gospel Music.  It also takes into consideration their contributions to their church and local community.

Dawn Weber hosts the Sunrise Show a morning drive time broadcast aired Monday through Friday designed to encourage her listeners as they start their day.  Dawn also hosts a short segment called "The Book Shelf" which reviews Christian books and authors.  Dawn also serves as the office manager for KJAB.  

KJAB Christian Radio is a FM radio station playing a genre of Southern Gospel and Bluegrass Gospel music.  The station is located in Mexico, Missouri and reaches nine counties in Central Missouri.  KJAB also streams its signal live on the Internet at http://www.kjab.com.  KJAB is an affiliate of the Soul's Harbor Baptist Church and is owned and operated by the church.
