Internet Radio News Service Launched

Internet radio joins mainstream media news with their own dedicated news service. U.S. Radio News has officially launched for internet radio stations.

Jan. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- The creator of the Internet Radio Amber Alert System, Paul Philbeck, has now put into place a internet radio news service. "The project has been ongoing for about a year and is now being launched" said Mr. Philbeck. The service is fully staffed and in operation. We write and record 2 minute news segments which are then professionally produced for broadcast on internet stations. Additionally we post the full stories on the U.S. Radio News website.   http://usradionews.net

Much like when I started the Amber Alert System for internet radio I felt the medium should have it's own news service instead of using the few available  mainstream alternatives.  This service will be available in a free version as well as a paid version. The free version will carry a short commercial and "Brought to you by" intro. The intro and 30 second spots will be available for purchase by businesses. The paid version will not have any ads and includes the ability to brand the news to a station name for an additional monthly fee.

Station owners will be able to download news segments 3 times a day monday through friday. The news will focus on national news in it's beginning, possibly expanding in the future to include world news as well as more localized offerings.
