Ludus Tours and US Figure Skating Announce Partnership

Jan. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- VANCOUVER, B.C. - With fewer than 25 days until the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, Ludus Tours has announced a partnership with U.S. Figure Skating to provide Tour Operator services for the U.S. Figure Skating family. The announcement coincides with the 2010 AT&T U.S. Figure Skating Championships that conclude this weekend in Spokane, Washington. The U.S. Championships are the final event in the nomination process of athletes that will compete in Vancouver.

Ludus Tours will provide U.S. Figure Skating with custom packages that include downtown Vancouver hotel accommodations, transportation, excursions and local guide assistance during the Vancouver Winter Games.

“Our partnership with Ludus will provide U.S. Figure Skating friends and family an important resource as they are making final plans to attend the Olympics in Vancouver. With such short planning time between now and the Games, we are confident that Ludus will provide quality options for our skating family and friends,” said David Raith, Executive Director of U.S. Figure Skating.  

“One of our primary objectives is always to help out the families and friends of athletes,” Ann Lanari, Ludus’ Vice President of Business Development, said. “U.S. Figure Skating is just now naming their team, so we’re here to support these groups as they make last minute arrangements for the Games.”

Ludus Tours is also the Official Tour Operator for the U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation, U.S. Speed Skating and USA Luge, among various Canadian Sport Federations. Ludus provides accommodations and Winter Games travel packages throughout downtown Vancouver and nearby Whistler Village, where the mountain and sliding events will take place.
