Ondax Introduces New Compact, High-power 405nm Stablized Lasers

Ondax announces the addition of several new compact, high-power, lasers to the company’s SureLock™ line of single-frequency, stabilized laser sources, expanding the available range of both power and wavelength.

Jan. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Ondax, Inc, a world leader in the design and manufacture of Volume Holographic Grating filters (VHGs) and wavelength stabilized, semiconductor lasers for the industrial, defense, scientific and medical markets, announced the addition of several new compact, high-power, lasers to the company’s SureLock™ line of single-frequency, stabilized laser sources, expanding the available range of both power and wavelength.

The SureLock™ 405 Series delivers up to 40mW of true, single-frequency laser performance at 405nm, combining exceptional power, stability, and reliability.  With a pre-collimated TEM00 output, a coherence length of over 1 meter, and guaranteed performance for a minimum lifetime of 12 months or 5,000 hours, the 405 Series lasers are an ideal choice for demanding applications including Raman spectroscopy, microscopy, metrology, flow cytometry, printing and fabrication.

The SureLock 405 is available in two package styles.  The Model CP405 is an ultra-compact, cylindrical package designed for easy integration into optical instrumentation or product platforms, offering an environmentally stable design with frequency stability of 4 pm/°C.  The Model LM405 incorporates both precision laser and temperature control electronics into a tightly integrated laser module, offering a rugged drop-in solution with long-term temperature stability of better than 1%.

The SureLock 405 is available in wavelengths from 405nm to 408nm in both 12mW and 40mW versions.
