Two Prominent Professors appointed to World Certification CouncilWashington – World Certification Institute announced the appointment of two eminent individuals on the Council – Professor John West, a leading expert on global economies; and Professor Mats Magnusson, a leading expert on engineering innovation.
By: Susan Mckenzie Professor Mats Magnusson is currently Chairman of the Continuous Innovation Network and Vice-President of UNITECH International, a collaboration amongst 9 European technical universities and more than 20 multi-national companies. Mats Magnusson has been a Visiting Professor at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, University of Bologna in Italy, and Aalborg University in Denmark. His research spans a wide range of topics, including strategy and innovation, knowledge management and continuous improvement. He has written several articles relating to these topics, specifically in the International Journal of Technology Management. The Council comprises people of stature and international reputation, and represents a cross-section of outstanding leaders, thinkers and professionals in the range of fields involved, representing many parts of the world, disciplines and areas of expertise.
