World Certification Institute Appoints 2 Eminent Educationists to the Council

Professor Suresh Mukhi is a renowned expert on the internationalization of management education; and Dr Larry McNutt is a leading expert on technology for higher education.
 
April 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Washington – World Certification Institute announced two new appointments to the Council: Professor Suresh Mukhi is a renowned expert on the internationalization of management education; and Dr Larry McNutt is a leading expert on technology for higher education.

Professor Suresh (Serge) Mukhi is currently the Principal at the Sydney College of Business and Information Technology. He has 35 years of senior management experience in both private and public organizations. He was formerly Pro-Vice Chancellor on international relations at the University of Technology, Sydney and has been the Foundation Professor of Management.

Serge has been a Visiting Fellow at Harvard Business School in the United States, and at the Cranfield School of Management In the United Kingdom. His expertise is in the area of organization behavior, strategic management, and the internationalization of education.

He is a Visiting Professor at Reims Business School in France and Tsinghua University in China. He has been a Visiting Professor in Delhi University and the University Sains Malaysia. He is also the adjunct Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology and the University of Fiji, as well as two universities in Australia. Serge Mukhi has published several books and numerous articles on management practices and international business.

Dr Larry McNutt is currently the Head of Informatics and Engineering at the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown, Dublin. He is a Fellow of the Irish Computer Society and has served as an external examiner at the Waterford Institute of Technology, the Cork Institute of Technology and the University College Dublin.

Larry has extensive engagement on academic assignments at several universities, namely the Dublin City University, Capella University in the United States, the Letterkenny Institute of Technology in Ireland, and Southern Cross University in Australia. His research interests and publications are focused on his expertise in the field of educational technology for higher education, namely distance education, education technology, instructional design, and computer science and engineering education.

He is a regular speaker at national and international conferences and workshops. Larry is currently involved in a number of collaborative research projects in the teaching and learning areas that are funded by the Higher Education Authority through the Strategic Innovation Fund.

This is the latest batch of new council appointments.
