London:PPSO SIG to Host First Local Branch Meeting in February

Jan. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- PPSOSIG:London will host their first event 25th February for free to group members at Rathbone Brothers, London.

A newly-launched branch of the Project and Programme Support Office Group Specialist Interest Group (PPSO SIG), PPSOSIG:London’s premier event intends to address matters including a company’s portfolio planning within their Programme Management Office, and also filter out the truth of the new P3O Practitioner accreditation launching this month. Highlighting this two-hour event will be the appearance of Peter Taylor, Head of PMO from Siemens and author of the new book “The Lazy Project Manager”.

As a regional branch of the PPSO, PPSOSIG:London is a voluntary, non profit forum for those involved in or running Programme Offices in the London region. The main purpose of the forum is to create networking opportunities with others across the region who work in similar roles, from different industries and to share issues, ideas and thoughts on best practices. Other local branch forums within the PPSO are originating, including PPSOSIG:Manchester (http://www.ppsosig.co.uk/Manchester/index.php) and another in Scotland.
