Edgar  Torres is a brother who grew up as a foster child with a vision and a passion for art. After winning an award from the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the top artist out of 9 high schools in New York City he got accepted into Pratt Institute and pursued his goals as an artist. Unfortunately the Art world is an extremely competitive world with no room for uncommitted Dreamers. Edgar was able to land a job working for Bozell, Jacolb, Kenyon & Eckhardt a worldwide advertising agency that opened the doors of experience to him at reputable company.

Edgar started as an assistant to the studio manager and worked his way up to assisting the president and the creative director with remarkable graphic design solutions. His stay was interrupted by a layoff due to the shift in the economy causing a down sizing in the industry.


Instead of giving up Edgar went to the School of Visual Arts to upgrade his knowledge in computer graphics and digital design. Now Edgar operates his own studio which has a Macintosh G4, a super high quality color printer, a scanner and a CD burner plus he operates a recording studio with a 48 track board laced with platinum sound modulators, modifiers and enhancers. Recordings can be done for web site development, television commercials and for CD recordings etc.

Since the start of his Design/Recording studio Edgar Torres has produced work for Senator Hillary Clinton’s campaign, the promotional graphics for the 31st Black & Puerto Rican Legislators Inc., (Annual Caucus held in the New York State Capitol building), The WBLS/WLIB radio sports caster Larry Hardest promotional poster, The YDC-Yvonne Diane Clark Campaign graphics, The New York State Black Elected Democrats awards dinner invitation and more.
