Tausi Shea Butter is a Hit in Tanzania

August 2009 saw Eileen Mngumi of Tausi Signature (http://www.tausisignature.com) travel to Tanzania where she arrived in Dar-es-Salaam on schedule before meeting with the Tanzania Food and Drug Authority (TFDA) to get the product range approved for entry into the country, which proved no problem.

Within days, word was spreading fast that a range of products offering far more than straightforward beauty benefits had landed in the country, and invitations were being circulated for a launch at the Peacock Hotel. Almost immediately, there was instant demand for the products and the selling began.

Eileen Mngumi was completely enthralled by the response which exceeded all expectations.

On 23 August 2009 the Dar-es-Salaam Product Launch took place at the Peacock Hotel at the Millennium Towers Kijitonyama area. The presentation was well received by the crowd who was given free reign to offer feedback on the products they had tried. “This was the icing on the cake”, said Eileen. “The Foot Smoothie, Face Cream, Face Cleanser and Shea body Unscented were probably the most popular products amongst this crowd.”

The day after the launch sales went from strength to strength proving there is a need for a natural range of products containing pure, organic Shea Butter. “If our products can meet the needs of the people of Tanzania; where their skin care needs are exceptionally demanding due to the harsh weather conditions, then we have to be very excited about their pending success in Europe.”
