Z’Tejas Rings In New Year With 3-course Prix Fixe Dinner

Dec. 15, 2009 - PRLog -- Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill is celebrating the New Year over a four-day period with a special 3-course, prix fixe menu prepared by Executive Chef Daniel Stevens.  From Dec. 31 – Jan. 3, the popular dining destination at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa will offer guests their choice of homemade gumbo or a zesty salad followed by either fresh Chilean sea bass or slow roasted prime rib with Southwestern seasonings and a special dessert for $25.99 (see attached menu for details and note that each of the items may be purchased a la carte).  Space is limited and reservations are suggested by calling (714) 979-7469.
In addition, Z’Tejas will offer brunch, which is usually only available on weekends, on New Year’s Day, Friday, Jan. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The dedicated brunch menu includes such items as Bananas Foster French Toast, Chicken and Potato Hash, Eggs Benedict, Barbacoa Beef Breakfast Enchiladas, and a Breakfast Quesadilla.  All brunch entrées are priced under $10 and are served with a side of fruit and a fresh-baked muffin.  A “make-your-own” Bloody Mary Bar is available for $3.50. Brunch is available in the dining room or al fresco.  
   “You won’t find a better way to celebrate New Year’s Eve in terms of value, quality and overall dining experience than what we have planned at Z’Tejas,” said General Manager Travis Miller.  “We decided to extend the festivities over a 4-day period to reach as many of our guests as possible allow them to join in the fun.”
   Miller said that the holiday gift card promotion whereby those purchasing $25 gift cards earn free $5 cards redeemable in Jan/Feb 2010 is going strong, but will conclude on Dec 24.
