The Swinden Group Helps Prepare and Protects Santa Claus for 2009 Christmas Eve World Tour

Dec. 14, 2009 - PRLog -- For the second year in a row, the Swinden Group, LLC will provide travel security, contingency planning, country threat briefings, and severe weather advisories for Saint Nick and Company during the annual Santa’s Christmas Eve World Tour.


“Santa, like any other globetrotting executive requires travel security, threat briefings and contingency plans,” explains Matthew Swinden, President of the Swinden Group.  “Through our global network of strategic partners, we are able to provide Santa the coverage that he needs so that he can concentrate on his specific goal for this global trip -- which is to deliver presents to the good children of the world.”


With the assistance of the Swinden Group and their strategic partners, Santa and his traveling entourage receive pre-trip planning that include security awareness training, country threat briefings, and contingency planning in the event the sleigh becomes disabled or a member of the traveling party becomes ill.  Additionally, Santa will be equipped with a satellite phone with GPS tracking technology so that he can communicate with the command and control center.  Should the sleigh break down, the control center can determine Santa’s location via GPS and dispatch the appropriate assistance.


While most of Santa’s journey will be in “low” threat regions, the Swinden Group has arranged for Executive Protection for the group while delivering presents in “high” risk regions ensuring the delivery of the precious cargo throughout the globe.


Winter Weather is also a threat.


Since Santa will be traveling by air, winter storms can be a threat to his or anyone’s travel plans.  Severe Weather Advisories, produced by The Swinden Group, are issued to companies and travelers to help mitigate severe weather events.  Santa will have access to these Severe Weather Advisories prior to and during his journey so that he can make the appropriate decisions when encountering severe weather.
