Scriptwriting Guru is run by Craig Priestley, a freelance scriptwriter who has experience working for the BBC and Universal Pictures. Craig had the following to say about the website:

"I've completed a media writing degree specialising in scriptwriting. I remember feeling frustrated at the amount of content we were given for the price I had paid for tuition fees. I felt that through the content I've gathered, others have given me and extensive research I could compile a website which could teach potential scriptwriters in their spare time or even as a supplement to their degree."

The website also offers one to one contact with the creator, meaning a similar feel to actually having a tutor. This will allow you to send scripts for idea generation, helpful hints or even a mark if required. This system is a great way  to help improve marks for students looking to do well in their scriptwriting studies. Craig adds “the one to one contact is possibly one of the most valuable features on the website. Having somebody to read your scripts and give feedback is a must in scriptwriting and over at scriptwriting guru we also aim to create a community for people to help each other and build contacts as well.”
