Pro Female Skateboarder and Model Lauren Perkins In Live Interview On MakeItPro TV Dec. 9

About Lauren Perkins
Lauren Perkins is one of the top female skateboarders in the world. Lauren started skating at the young age of 7 after asking her mom for a skateboard when a skatepark was built near her home.  At the age of 10, Lauren entered her first contest in Oceanside, CA, where she was the only girl to compete with over 20 guys.  In 2000, Lauren became the youngest girl to compete at the All Girls Skate Jam. She took home 2nd place along with the attention of the head of Vans Pewee team. Lauren joined the team and by the age of 12, took 1st at the Gravity Games amateur contest, beating out 45 boys.  2002 proved to be a career breaking year for Lauren. She took an impressive 1st place win at the All Girls Skate Jam in her home town of Huntington Beach, CA.
