Tim Caswell, Jr. Assumes Executive Director role for SOHPEC

Nov. 25, 2009 - PRLog -- MEDFORD, ORE - Southern Oregon High Performance Enterprise Consortium (SOHPEC) is pleased to announce that Tim Caswell, Jr. will serve as Executive Director for the non-profit "peer-to-peer" organization. SOHPEC is dedicated to helping area businesses implement ‘Lean’ management philosophies to achieve continuous improvement and increased profitability.
Caswell was raised in Ashland, graduating from Ashland High School in 1987 and subsequently from SOU in 1992 with degrees in Business Administration and Political Science, and has operated his own small businesses and once served as an advocate for the Small Business community. He now lives in Medford with his 3 children.
“I have a deep passion and commitment to our region,” says Caswell. “I’ve seen what can happen when companies focus on making their operations smoother, quicker and more efficient through lean or High Performance techniques. I look forward to working with these forward thinking companies!”

Caswell, officially began his role as Executive Director November 18th, after the SOHPEC board of directors wrapped up their interviewing process for the position, and chose him as their top candidate. SOHPEC, founded in 2005,  provides classroom training in ‘Lean’, on-site learning exchanges and Kaizen events in member facilities.
