The proved reserves mineral fields amount is 28, total KCI reserves is 0.456 billion tons. Sylvite in our country is mainly produced in Qinghai Cha Erhan Brine Lake which occupied 97% of whole country reserves; Yunnan Meng Yejing also has sylvite production. The major sylvite mine type is modern brine lake sylvite, the Mesozoic Era sedimentation type sylvite mine and potash brine do not occupy important position.
