The proved reserves mineral fields’ amount is 327 which located all over the country. Shanxi owns the most of refractory clay which occupied 27.9% of whole country reserves; Henan, Hebei, Nei Menggu, Hubei and Jilin take second place. The main granite genetic type has two: sedimentation (Shanxi Taihu stone, Hebei Zhao Gezhuang, Henan Gongxian, Shandong Zibo refractory clay mineral fields) and weathering residue (such as Guangdong Fei Tianyan refractory clay), the major is sedimentation type with reserves more than 95%. The mineragenetic epoch of refractory clay is Paleozoic Era, Mesozoic Era and Cainozoic Era take second place.
