Nov. 8, 2009 - PRLog -- I am going to explain here just why you should hire an SEO Web Designer for your next website.

First of all, what is an SEO Web Designer?

An  SEO Web Designer is a dude who is highly skilled and has natural abilities to:
1) Produce appealing website designs to be suitable for both their client and the viewers of alleged website
2) Organize the website coding as to enable search engine spiders to straightforwardly travel through the content and discover the revelance of every crazy page.
3) Pick and use keywords and/or keyword phrases for the best possible search rank using SEO software

Second, why should I use an SEO Web Designer?

1) Save yourself gobs of money
2) Contract the best promising search engine optimization designed for your website
3) Compose your website with natural SEO built inside

Being that I prepare Web Design and SEO, I contract many requests designed for optimizing an existing website so the proprietor can persuade better search results, and extra visitors to their website. And it occures way too often that I contract owners who had their site designed with so many mistakes, that it's impractical to meerly optimize the website, they need it thoroughly redone. Guaranteed, it might look splendid from the outside, but every so often there's no way to optimize it for the best probable rankings devoid of replacing all of the coding markup. And I came across another one of these websites the other day - which gave me motive to put in writing this article.

Third, what damage can a regular Web Designer accomplish to mess up my search engine indexing?

1) Search engine indexing (lack thereof) - what this means is that your website is (or is NOT) noticed to search engines - they know you're up and online. The WORST STUPID mistake I ever came across, was where I had to correct this phrase, found inside of the head content (not viewable), "robots: Noindex." This simply tells ALL search engines to stay away!!

2) Using text embedded inside an image used for navigation. Search spiders ordinarily enter through your home page, travel through that page, and after that onto following pages - if they can find that you have more web pages. Lacking natural text links, search spiders cannot find whether or else you maintain further pages to expolre.

3) Mistreatment of markup tags - these special tags instruct search engines what to accomplish with the content you've written. The most valued markup for excellent SEO should include employment of the "h1" through "h6" tags. These are heading tags, much like the big, bold text that would be used inside books and magazines. Many regular designers simply add heavy, bold text at this juncture - maybe a changed color, too. The h-tags  instruct search engines that what to monitor next is all something like this statement. Surrounded by these h-tags you can place keywords, and these keywords will receive extra attention from search spiders.

4) This one is the MOST conventional mistakes I observe - usage of tables rather than cascading styles. Although this is debated between SEO experts, the practice of using table make up in support of content positioning is simply outdated. Employment of CSS generates concentrated coding connecting content, allowing search spiders to travel through your web page quicker.

CSS furthermore has other benefits: It allows updates and changes to be completed much much more rapidly. A web designer or SEO expert will simply need to exchange one statement inside of the cascading style sheet to replace all the styles on all the pages for the full website.

5) Conventional Web Designers do not consider naming your page files in support of competent SEO. What I'm conversing about here, is the title set to the file that makes it into a unique web page. An illustration: mywebsite/services.html.

Conventional name a web page would be: "services, html." But this doesn't include unique keywords with the intention of raising your search status. The SEO correction could be as such: "seo-web-design-services.html." You get the drift? And what if your web page be one that is already indexed? Changing the file name isn't the only thing you'll need to do. You'll have to create a redirect so that the spiders do not go to what now will be a 404 page (not found).

I have simply touched on why you shouldn't make use of a (regular) Web Designer at this time, outlining the most valuable reasons. With any luck, there will exist sufficient readers of this article so to facilitate consumers to be aware next time they need website design work. Next time you need a website built, no doubt you will consider http://webdesignbysteve.com - an SEO Web Designer!
