Pod1 Web Design Furnishes Romo Fabrics With A Luxury New Web Presence

The redevelopment of the website formed part of the company’s overall marketing plan for Romo alongside launching their new brands online.

The site was built using the Magento open source platform, more usually used for ecommerce solutions, but in this case adapted for a non-transactional website. This included a number of bespoke modules, such as the Search and Multi-Favourites.

With Search you can look for a specific Romo product by entering the collection name, design name or product code. Alternatively, you can search the entire Romo fabrics collection by usage, colour, design style or fabric type, and you can select more than one option in each category allowing your search to be as specific as you need it to be.

The Multi-Favourites functionality allows the user to have several folders with the option to add notes to any products saved in the favourites folders and then email the link to a friend. This could prove a useful feature for interior decorators and clients alike.
