Realogic's upcoming Lunch and Learn, "Green Abstracting: Save Paper and Improve Productivity"

Oct. 15, 2009 - PRLog -- Realogic is proud to host it's upcoming free Lunch and Learn educational session. The goal of the session is to establish a network of commercial real estate professionals interested in continuing their understanding of the commercial real estate industry.

Current lease abstracting and administration routinely involves thousands and thousands of full-sized sheets of paper being printed, stapled, highlighted and filed.  The end result is storage rooms full of piles upon piles of leases, amendments and associated legal documents.

For decades, industries around the world have made an effort to reduce their paper usage. With that in mind, why do so many abstracting and administration departments continue to print lease documents? The answer is simple: onscreen abstracting can be difficult without training.

Come to the October Lunch and Learn presented by Miles Baltrusaitis, Senior Associate of Abstracting Services. Miles will demonstrate multiple techniques for improving on-screen abstracting efficiency using software like Excel, Word, ARGUS Valuation - DCF™ and Realogic’s own web based abstracting solution, LeaseAbstract.com™.

This Lunch and Learn will be held on Wednesday, October 21st from 12:00 to 1:30pm. The presenter will be Miles Baltrusaitis, Senior Associate, Abstracting Services. Miles has over 8 years of lease management experience, including lease abstracting for due diligence and ongoing administration,  teaching JDE and E1 training classes, and writing lease abstracting training and procedures documentation.
