Chris Rock’s Good Hair Controversy Hits Birmingham Radio

Oct. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Chris Rock appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show to discuss the controversy over his new film ‘Good Hair’ The film looks at the lengths that Black Women go to in order to look good.

Talk show presenter Quiz on his weekly radio show picked up the story.  Female callers were furious at the comments made by Dean Alexander and Quiz during the popular weekly mix-show.  
The pair are no strangers to controversy.  Dean “the funkyman” Alexander has been has been one of the top DJ’s in Birmingham for over 10 years and is the founder and Director of the Black International Film Festival.  Quiz aka “the Urban Authority” is known for is sharp whit and sarcastic delivery.  Quiz is also the promoter behind the upcoming Urban Fashion and Music conference.

The pair have launched a blog prompted by the debate about the Chris Rock film. The entitled iknowalotofstuff.com builds on the discussions started on the weekly radio show.  Both Quiz and Dean hope to express their views to the world using this new outlet.
