Follow on Google News | KnightSong Releases Latest CD, TwentigCharming a cappella group, KnightSong, recently released its latest CD with the title Twentig. The CD includes sacred songs and madrigals.
By: Traton News KnightSong started with a group of friends who have been singing madrigals since 1984. Pat Buonodono, who currently leads the group and who is an attorney by trade, states that her love of music stems from the fact that music has an immense emotional impact on people. Being a part of KnightSong gives the singers an opportunity to be something larger than just the music. According to their website at http://www.knightsong.com: KnightSong performs year-round for public and private gatherings. The group also performs regularly at charitable events; in the past they have appeared on behalf of organizations such as Aid Atlanta, The Atlanta Food Bank, Scottish Rite Hospital and the Georgia Justice Project. The ensemble performed annually at the Olde English Festival in Atlanta from its inception until the Festival ended, and has performed for a number of years at the Georgia Shakespeare Festival and "Christmas Candlelight Nights" at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. KnightSong has been featured as one of twelve "Carolers of Christmas" on a popular Atlanta radio morning show, and a song from its Christmas CD played on Sirius radio during the Christmas season. The singers also share a love of laughter. Insofar as all of them are fully employed apart from KnightSong, it seems apparent that their rehearsals and dedication to music comes from their enjoyment of the craft. KnightSong's other CDs are available on CDBaby.com, and are sure to be a delight to all listeners. Reporting for Traton News, Ingrid Ingram End
