Sept. 25, 2009 - PRLog -- Have you ever wonder when travelling overseas how do I call home from this country?  How do I call withing the foreign country? How do I call a overseas friend during a foreign travel?

There are various country codes and national direct dialing codes and prefixes that would confuse you. Telephone country codes or international country codes is code used during dialing within and outside the country.  International Direct Dialling (IDD) or International Subscriber Dialling) codes (ISD) is used when dialing international country.  PSTN Telephone numbering plan requires for any country international dialing prefix, such as "00" or "011", which must be dialed before the international country codes  when dialing an international phone number.  For GSM Cell phones international dial prefix is "+" used before dialing the phone country code.  To confuse the user, their is also National direct dial code which used when dialing within the country.
