Sept. 25, 2009 - PRLog -- Northbrook, Illinois  GenUs BioSystems, the leader in research based gene expression analysis, today announced a reduction in the minimum quantity of total RNA necessary for their standard service level. Standard pricing is now available for samples yielding as little as 300 nanograms of total RNA, 70% less than previously offered.

GenUs bioSystems provides the highest quality gene expression analysis available from small and difficult samples such as flourescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), laser capture microdissection (LCM), OCT-embedded, and other biopsy material. GenUs BioSystems special services are available for samples as small as 100 picograms.

Dr. Scott R. Magnuson, president of GenUs BioSystems commented: "GenUs has consistently been able to analyze total RNA samples other labs refuse, providing a much needed service to researchers working with tiny or difficult samples. Currently our standard service provides greater sensitivity and reproducibility than is available from any other source."
