This coveted award recognizes marketing professionals who are considered to be experts in their field, who have contributed their time and effort through teaching and service to their peers, and who are considered to be outstanding leaders and examples in the real estate and building industry.

Miriam Tate’s career spans more than 39 years. After serving as Vice President of Marketing for homebuilders in both Atlanta, Georgia and Southern California, she founded the Miriam Tate Company in 1985 on her strongly held principle that the individual buyer should be visually acknowledged on any given street scene. Locally, she is recently best known for the development of Ladera Ranch’s Master Palette, the beautiful exteriors at One Ford Road and Sailhouse. She is also deeply involved in Rancho Mission Viejo’s New Ranch Plan.

Many of these neighborhoods and communities have received Gold Nuggets, MAMEs, and other prestigious honors. She has also designed many commercial and institutional projects.

Tate has many times been a featured speaker at major industry conventions, including PCBC, NAHB, and ULI, and has also been a contributing editor to such leading publications as Builder and Professional Builder.
