March 31, 2010 - PRLog -- Digging the Dirt: True Tales of Southern California's Most Famous Builders, Developers and Real Estate Moguls.

While the economy has sentenced advertising executives and marketers to a life spent bemoaning the former good times; one industry icon is having the last laugh. Claudia Roxburgh, a real estate marketing expert and permanent fixture inside California's builder and real estate development scene has published her memoirs, Digging the Dirt: True Tales of Southern California's Most Famous Builders, Developers & Real Estate Moguls.

The book, which reads like a who's who of the Southern California real estate industry, chronicles humorous, tragic and shocking events perpetrated by some of the biggest names in building and real estate. Roxburgh, who began her career in advertising as a writer, will no doubt keep readers endlessly entertained with a host of outrageous quotes taken verbatim from the meticulous notes she kept from meetings, private parties and other insider events.

Peter Mayer, President of Pete Mayer Productions, said, "Digging the Dirt is a riotous exposé likely to send shockwaves through the building industry comparable to California's anxiously awaited Big One."

"Digging the Dirt is going to shake the foundations of a lot of big California builders and rattle the cages of the rest. Funny and fantastical, this book and the big egos it features inside are guaranteed to be the talk of the town for years to come," Robin DeLotell, President of Robin DeLotell Associates said.

The Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC) announced plans to host a launch party for Digging the Dirt at its conference scheduled for June 9th-11th in San Francisco. Roxburgh will be on-hand to do a reading of some of the more explosive sections of the book and to autograph copies of the book as part of the PCBC sponsored national book signing tour. The release of the book coincides with Roxburgh’s celebration of more than 30 years in business.
