Satellite-Based Pump and Plunger Lift Control Commands

Implicit Monitoring Solutions (IMS) has upgraded Intellisite to include a new user friendly interface, Control Commander.  This new interface allows for commands to be sent via satellite connections to the Right Smart 1200 or Right Smart 2400 data acquisition and satellite communication devices.  This web-based enhancement allows users to manage their remote devices anytime anywhere with NO additional fees.  Control features give Intellisite the ability to further expand from traditional data acquisition and built-in control features, to allowing users to manage the more complicated production optimization solutions like Plunger Lift and Pumps.

The IMS satellite-based Control Commander can be used for a wide variety of devices.  Typical applications include sending “VFD Start/Stop/Change Speeds” commands to variable frequency drives for any pumping units.  Control Commander also allows Plunger Lift Parameters to be set and then communicated to the controller via satellite communication.

Control Commander includes a set of web-based easy-to-use templates based on the specific application. Once you make your selections, the templates will automatically generate the appropriate commands.

Here is a partial list of satellite-based Control Commander templates.
•  Pump VFD’s – Send control commands to the VFD regulating the pump.
•  Plunger Lift Parameters – Send the plunger lift parameters for the Plunger Lift Controller.
•  Immediate Feedback – Additional commands will pull back the most recent data for review.
•  Gas Analysis – Send gas composition changes to an EFM.
•  Orifice Changes – Send Orifice Diameter changes to an EFM.
•  Pipe Changes – Send Pipe Diameter changes to an EFM.
•  Alarm Limits – Setting alarm high limits, low limits, deadbands, and delays in RS1200.
•  Back Records – users can pull EFM back records for review.
•  General Purpose – There are a set of general purpose commands to perform other actions.
