Implicit Monitoring Solutions Links Radio Service to Natural Gas Prices

Aug. 19, 2009 - PRLog -- Implicit Monitoring responds to lower natural gas prices and the need for oil & gas producers to lower their operating costs by offering an expanded EFM data acquisition and web application service for radio-based systems.  The expanded service is priced monthly based on two times the Henry Hub MMBtu price as reported by NYMEX.  The final price of natural gas for June 2009 was $3.84.  At two times that price, the Implicit radio-based monitoring service would be $7.68 for the month of June, versus other service providers that charge from $25 or more a month.

Implicit’s radio-based monitoring solution uses an enhanced polling engine to acquire data and display the data on the Intellisite reporting platform or make data available for other industry applications.  The radio service includes data acquisition, “poll on demand” capabilities, and the ability to support API 21.1 data collection standards.
