Sept. 14, 2009 - PRLog -- Interest groups in Washington, D.C., and on the Internet are racing to patch together an outline of the Senate Finance Committee's latest, yet-to-be-released plan to overhaul the nation's health care system. Here's an early-bird review of what is being proposed, with a specific focus on the implications for small businesses and their owners.

The Finance Committee is clearly anxious to appear concerned about small business. The first provision mentioned in its unreleased 18-page document, portions of which have been leaked to the public, is a tax credit for small businesses. The committee is trying to spin this in a positive way, but I am very worried about the details.
