Financial Management Workshop for Non-Profit Organizations

Sept. 13, 2009 - PRLog -- The Penn Soil RC&D Council is hosting a training session titled Financial Management for Non-Profit Organizations on September 16, 2009 in Titusville, PA.   The training will help your organization to meet your financial obligations and mission.  The workshop has been specifically developed in response to the growing need and demand for training in running a Non-Profit Organization.    

During the training, you will lean about recent changes in IRS 990 files, the need for audits, learn the difference between direct and indirect costs, cost allocation planning, and much more.  Sara Knight, a nationally-known Certified Public Accountant, has great expertise and knowledge of RC&D Councils and will provide an excellent training opportunity for us all. The training will be held at Towne Square, 4th Floor Board Room, 110 West Spring Street, Titusville, PA 16354 on September 16, 2009 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  The course is being hosted by the Penn Soil RC&D Council and the course is being sponsored by the PADEP, Consortium for Scientific Assistance to Watersheds (C-SAW), and Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).

To help off-set costs and cover expenses, the reduced fee for the workshop is only $ 25.00.

This training takes place during the Oil 150 celebration, commemorating Colonel Drake's discovery of oil, and what better place to host our meeting than in Titusville, Pa, the valley that changed the world!
