Barneybags, Walk Out!!

Sept. 11, 2009 - PRLog -- Pompey Hardware, based in Fawcett Rd, Fratton saw an unbelievable uptake in there newly aquired BarneyBags, after what was deemed to be a slow start, Pompey Hardware SOLD OUT in just three weeks.

Pompey Hardware owner Dave said " i don't know what they done there end, but it worked, they have all gone!, we even had a few days of excitement, we would be out doing something and on or return the staff were like "we sold four, we sold four!", it was great"

BarneyBags launched six weeks ago, during the credit crunch of all times, but they have seen a steady uptake in there one tonne bulk bags, with there website visitors rising 100%.

The owner of BarneyBags, Stephen Gullidge said "it was a slow and hard start, but with a little low cost advertising in our local paper "The News" it seems to have really helped, at the time i have to admit, I thought it wasn't going to work!"

BarneyBags have amassed nine stockists thus far, with Pompey Hardware being the first to sell out. The BarneyBags are available from local hardware stores from £5.00. Collections are a very reasonable £48.50, but should you require two or more collections can drop to a fantastic £43.00 per bag.

The unique set up of BarneyBags ensures that costs can always be great for consumers, all collections are made via local registered waste disposal companies, BarneyBags owner Stephen Gullidge stated "You have to use what is available, there are a few out there, so why introduce another when you can help a current trader? It makes sense to share the work with other local  traders, so I have set up BarneyBags in a way to help local hardware stores and local collection agents".

The first four weeks of BarneyBags has seen orders from local stockists top 150, a great start in the current climate, BarneyBags are also introducing the 4 cubic yard BarneyBuilderBag for local tradespeople as of September 1st, allowing them to supply local tradespeople with a great money saving alternative to skips as well as local residents.
