The BCP-7000 Fametech Portable Barcode Scanner is a heavier-duty version of the BCP-6000. It is made of solid ABS plastic, and contains a more powerful scanner than the BCP-6000. The depth of field of the scans is 5-65 cm for the BCP-7000. The lithium-ion battery has a 1700mAh capacity, compared to 600mAh of the BCP-6000.
