Sept. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- Birmingham, England September 6th.  Birmingham Christian Centre hosts an evening church service called the MAINROOM.  For the past 3 years the MAINROOM has utilized creative ministry to reach a more diverse audience.

For the past 2 years the MAINROOM team have looked at ways to get their message to the people that need it most.  “We have used, flyers shaped like iphones, late night services and the internet,” says one of the MAINROOM team.  “It just makes sense to use social networking, to get the word out”.  Their facebook group is quickly approaching 1000 and they have constant twitter updates.

Whatever they are doing it seems to be working.  With some services packed with 700 plus people it challenges most peoples perception of church.

The MAINROOM attracts guests from all over the world.  People such as DJ Andy Hunter, Lecrae, 29th Chapter, Canton Jones, Sammy G, Rachel Hickson and others have ministered at the Birmingham Church.  Pastor Jonny Lee conceived the idea of the MAINROOM and He appears to be on to a good thing.
