The Doubell’s, both in their seventies, moved into their stunning three-bedroom penthouse suite when their previous home, with its quarter acre garden, became too much to handle.

Ten months after having moved to the Crest Nicholson site, the couple are thrilled with their purchase. Sylvia said: “Our new home is just so convenient, everything we need is right on our doorstep. We can now walk to the doctors, dentist and library and we can even see our favourite restaurant from our balcony.

“We have fallen in love with our new home, not only because of its location but the flat itself is beautiful. The standard of the finish is so high and the views are breathtaking.”

From their large fifth-floor balcony, on which they can fit a table and six chairs, the Doubell’s can see the historic floating harbour, Bristol Cathedral and Millennium Square. The balcony has become such an important part of their new lifestyle that they have renamed it ‘the room outside’.
