Accuform Celebrates Two-years Without A Lost-time Workplace Incident

Aug. 26, 2009 - PRLog -- BROOKSVILLE, FL – Accuform Signs, situated in the Hernando County Airport Industrial Park, today announced that its family of employees has worked just over two years, or 752 days, without a lost-time incident. The previous record was 400 days.  A lost-time incident is defined by the Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA) as any occupational injury or illness which results in an employee being unable to work beyond the day or shift that it occurred.

To celebrate surpassing the two-year mark, owners Wayne Johnson and David Johnson personally presented each Accuform employee with a certificate from Angel Food Ministries. “You have worked hard to get us here, and we believe hard work should be rewarded,” said Wayne Johnson, CEO of Accuform. “That’s why we have chosen to partner with Angel Food Ministries to purchase a Signature Box for every household in the Accuform family,” said Johnson. He continued, “The Angel Food Signature Box contains a wonderful variety of food that will feed a family of four for a week. It is our hope that each employee will use this food to gather as a family and reflect on what’s important in each of their lives.” In conclusion, Johnson said, “For past milestones, Accuform has catered lunches, given away t-shirts and more…but we wanted to do something unique, something that could be shared at home, something that will bring families together.”
