Arrow ECS Receives Certification to Provide Training for Microsoft Learning Solutions

Aug. 23, 2009 - PRLog -- ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc. [NYSE- ARW], has been named a certified partner for Microsoft Learning Solutions in North America.  

A long-time Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Arrow ECS offers Microsoft product knowledge and professional services in six competencies:  Small Business Specialist, Security Solutions, Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Networking Infrastructure Solutions, Information Worker Solutions and Unified Communications Solutions.  Now receiving its seventh competency around Learning Solutions, Arrow ECS will offer training courses for select Microsoft solutions.  

These courses are generally five days in length and teach the knowledge and skills to plan, deploy and configure solutions with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Configuration Manager 2007 and Microsoft Operations Manager 2007.  Arrow ECS’ Microsoft Exchange courses are aligned closely with learning paths toward achieving Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and Microsoft Certified IT (information technology) Professional (MCIP) certification.

Classes start in September 2009 and are immediately available for open enrollment at one of Arrow ECS’ training locations throughout the United States and Canada for resellers and their clients. Also, resellers can host a class at the location of their choice.
