Livewire thought a great way to celebrate is to give back to the community during this difficult time in our economy. Livewire is giving away over $1000 in gift cards including $100 visa cards, $100 publix gift cards, gas cards, and more. Every person will receive a ticket at the door and will have an opportunity to win a gift card. According to Josh, "$100, $50, or $25 is not going to change a person's life, but I believe it is the thought that counts". "I believe people will see that someone does care about them and will do something even if that something is small". Livewire was founded on Sunday, February 1, 2009 by Josh and Kristine Perez. Josh and Kristine were long time members and served 10 years on staff at New Hope Ministries in Naples, FL. In December of 2008 both Josh and Kristine had a burning desire to do church a little different and make it relevant to the culture. According to Josh, "Many people feel church and the Bible are outdated and not relevant and I think much of that can be traced back to the church making it that way". Livewire is not your typical, traditional church. You will find it is a place where all walks of life are accepted, respected, and welcome. At Livewire jeans and t-shirts are the norm, the atmosphere is club-like, the music rocks, and the message is relevant. Livewire endeavors to serve people by meeting their real needs. Livewire does not want to be known as the church where people must come to them as much as they desire to be known as the church that goes to and serves people. Livewire's vision is to demonstrate through action the sacrificial, unconditional love of jesus christ to every person. On Sunday, September 13, grand opening day Livewire will model its vision. # # # Livewire is not your typical, traditional church.
