Mosaic Harmony to Perform for Interfaith Voices Fundraiser

July 23, 2009 - PRLog -- Oakton, VA  — Mosaic Harmony, an interfaith, multicultural community choir based in Northern Virginia, has been selected to perform at the fall fundraiser to benefit Interfaith Voices, the nation’s leading religion news magazine on public radio reporting on the many ways religion informs our politics and culture.  Choir director Rev. David K. North and choir member Suzanne Reynolds recently were interviewed by Maureen Fiedler, creator and host of the show, which is heard on over 62 stations nationwide and in Canada.  The interview will be aired on Saturday September 12 at 2:00pm on a worldwide webcast on Universal Christian Radio, www.universalchristianradio.com and in the Washington metropolitan area on Sunday, September 13 at 3:00pm on 88.5 WAMU FM, the American University based radio station.  

The concert will feature selections from the choir’s wide ranging repertoire as well as some original songs penned by the choir’s director and will be held at the River Road Unitarian Church in Bethesda, Maryland on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 7:30pm.  Advance tickets for the concert are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and students and kids under 12 are free.  This concert kicks off the choir’s 17th season and is their first for the Interfaith Voices organization.  For more information on Interfaith Voices, visit their website www.interfaithradio.org and for more information on Mosaic Harmony, www.mosaicharmony.org
