Native American Herbs and healing

July 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Being a Native American & working with herbs is a spritual experiance to say the least.  As healers we must always use the medicine wheel as our guide and while doing so we must pay very close attention to the spirit of the plant when harvesting. Our sisters the plants will always receive a gift of tobacco as an offering. We always ask permission to harvest and sometimes we do get a no answer. We never harvest more then one third of the plant in any area.
  These are some of the sacred guidelines we live by. Native American healing does not always include plants. There are 2 parts to healing. The physical which would include the plants and the spritual which may or may not include a plant spirit. When seeking a Native American healer one must always offer tobacco. One must also be prepared that they may or may not like what the healer has to say.

We offer Dried herbs, Tinctures, Salves, Creams and syrups. Our goal is to provide a website where people can trust what they are getting.
Besides selling natural herbal products online we also offer other sevices through Red Fox Trading Post such as Healing work. Of course for this most of the time you need to be close to Vermont for face to face work however I have helped people via the phone in some circumstances. We also do drumming circles from time to time so people can learn about the drum and the importance of this sacred object. The Native American Drum plays a big role in Native American healing. I use my drum many times to help a person with a problem. I also many times use my drum when gathering herbs. The plants like the heartbeat of mother earth.
