July 5, 2009 - PRLog -- Colorado Springs, CO - Members of the Association for Software Testing (AST) have enjoyed the benefits of the free software testing courses the organisation offers. Now, they also have the chance to offer those same courses to others, either for AST credit or, for profit.  The AST Instructors training course is being offered at the CAST 2009 software
testing conference being held in Colorado Springs July 13-16.

The two online software testing courses currently being offered by AST are part of a planned series of ten BBST (or Black Box Software Testing) courses (the tenth becoming available in 2010).  Testers can obtain a certificate after completing 10 of these courses. They cover software testing techniques and practices needed in the software quality assurance field. The classes are offered online free of charge to AST members, and
last four weeks each.

The BBST instructor training class is being held the last day of the CAST 2009 conference, and satisfies the Instructors Orientation Course requirement for prospective AST-certified instructors. Cost of the tutorial is $35 for AST members and $50 for non-members. Those interested in learning more about the training can find more information or register by
