Celebrate the Music of Woodstock at Woodstock ReRocked-Tribute to 40th Anniversary of Woodstock

July 1, 2009 - PRLog -- The School of Rock Music in cooperation with Oakdale Guitar Center, Ellis Drum Shop, Capital Records, IPR, Eclipse Music and The Rock Nightclub present a Tribute to Woodstock and the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock. This all ages concert is free and open to the public.

Ask the School of Rock Music students who their favorite musician is and many will point to the stars of Woodstock; the rock musicians who they will be honoring at this free rock concert. Musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, Santana, CSNY, The Who, Jefferson Airplane and many more.  40 years later their music is still touching hearts, souls and lives.

Some of the Twin Cities most promising young musicians will demonstrate their skills on guitar, bass, drums keyboard and vocals. With 60 hours of rehearsal time put in before this concert it is sure to please even the Woodstock “purists.”
